WG Series

The WG series is a cost effective, tubular filter designed specifically for products in the white goods appliance markets. The WG series products have a maximum current rating of 16 amp at 250 VAC (max.). Products within the series have the same fit and form, but differ in their low frequency, common mode performance.

The WG series filters are available in the style 1 configuration with 5 .25" terminals or style 3 configuration with 4" minimum wire leads.

The popular WG Power Line Filter family for appliances and white goods has expanded with the option of a RAST 5 connector interface to simplify installation and help eliminate potential wiring errors. The tubular filter is now available with an unkeyed two-position RAST 5 header that mates with Tyco Electronics’ Standard Power Timer connectors or the RAST 5 Positive Lock Mark III connectors. A built-in latching mechanism also improves housing retention. The RAST 5 interface is available for all six standard versions of the WG family. The RAST 5 interface mates with any two-position (keyed or unkeyed) Tyco Electronics Standard Power Timer connector or RAST 5 Positive Lock Mark III connector.

WGA, WBG and WGC products are intended to comply with leakage current for fixed appliances not easily moved from one place to another in normal use. WGD, WGE and WGF products are intended to comply with leakage current requirements for appliances which may be easily moved from one place to another in normal use.
